PLAYING CONTACTS Coach: Mark Thomas
 A dogged left midfielder, 'Jonty' is potentially the most committed member of the team. An on-field leader, he assumed the role of first team coach a the start of the 2009-2010 season following the departure of Laith El-Khatib. His personal training background makes him a menace for all first team players, but he is proving valuable in his role as coach.
First Team Captain: Richard Baker
Richard rose through the junior ranks of Penarth Hockey Club like many before him, whilst also representing Wales at Under-15 level. After five seasons out of hockey from 2002 to 2007, he returned for the 2007-2008 season and took over as Captain from David Stevens a year later. Baker continues to captain the side and lead them to promotion from the Severn Division last season as Champions.
Second Team Captain: Matt Birch
 Whilst combining roles as Youth Team Coach and Second Team Captain, Matt Birch works tirelessly for Penarth Hockey Club. Taking over as Second Team Captain this season from fellow Youth Team Coach James Davies, Matt will continue their good work in bringing the next batch of young players into senior hockey whilst keeping the legends of the club out of retirement.
